Usual crud applies, don't take unless you link back.
Next, a card that could go into practically any evolution themed deck, Jirachi.

Jirachi
Vital Stats:
Type: Psychic/Metal
Basic Pokemon
HP: 70
Weakness: Fire
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: (C)

Attack/Powers:
(C)    Make A Wish
Search your deck for a card that evolves from 1 of your Pokemon and put it on that Pokemon. (This counts as evolving that Pokemon.) If you do, put 1 damage counter on Jirachi.
(P)(M)   Mind Bend   30
Flip a coin. If head, the Defending Pokemon is now Confused.

Background Info:
Set: EX Hidden Legends
Set Number: 8/101

Type: Psychic/Metal: Psychic is nice. Metal lets you pick up those added bonuses from Metal Energy so that's quite helpful. That, combined with the fact that not a huge amount of Pokemon have Metal resistance, should make him nice. He's quite splashable though, as you'll soon see.

Basic Pokemon: Nice. Not only does he have a great attack, he's not EX or Shining. First turn, BAM! Evolution is rolling.

HP: 70: Very nice for a Basic. Combine this with a couple 'o Metal Energy and you can survive for quite a while.

Weakness/Resistance: Weakness to fire is NOT to good. Most Fire types can do roughly 30 damage anyways, leaving you with a minimum of 10 HP if you don't have any damage counters or Metal Energy. This stop you from "Wishing" which is bad.

Retreat Cost: (C): Not bad. You can run like Godzilla was chasing you if you needed. Just don't discard a Metal.

Make A Wish: Awesome. Awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome. AWESOME!!! I am really surprised that I haven't heard of many people running this. You can get out ANY evolution first turn for a single energy and a single damage counter. Besides the damage, there isn't really a downside to this attack. Let's put a scenario up here. You have 1 Prize left, your opponent 2. Jirachi is active against... Hitmonchan. Jirachi has 1 energy and 6 damage counters on him. You have a Kadabra on your bench. "Wish" in an Alakazam, KOing Jirachi. Next turn, knock out the opponent for the win. With him not being an EX, there isn't any real reason you can't KO him for that last card you need. Very good attack.

Mind Bend: Not very good. 30 damage and POSSIBLE confusion for 2 differant energy, one of which is a Special, isn't very good. Just Wish unless you can use it for a KO.

Deck Strategies: Evolution Deck. ANY Evolution Deck. PERIOD.

Final Thoughts: Amazing card, the only downside being the 1 damage counter rule and his horrible Mind Bend attack. Just use him for his "Wish" 9/10
