Dear sir/Madam,

 

We have organized one day Forensic Science   Workshop in the Hall of National Forensic Laboratory, Khumaltar, Lalitpur Nepal on July 2, 08. Chief  speaker was Mr. B. Lal , one of the senior most retired Gov. Document Examiner of  Inda .  

He has shared his 50 years experience as an Examiner of Questioned Documents, trainers and Court evidence,  appearances at the Courts for evidence and  face the Cross Examinations in the different Courts of India as an Expert.  He has explained on the topics such as expert Evidence in the court of Law, Preparations and Methods of Documents Examination special reference to the requested and less number of specimens, rate of error, and causes of errors, Duties and responsibilities of the Lawyers, Judges and experts and their relationship. In nutshell his conclusion was that the goal is to find out the truth an only truth. Therefore the Judges, Lawyers, Forensic Scientists, Investigators and Police must be cooperating each other's functions.   

 

  Participants of this workshop were almost all experts of Nepal such as   experts from National Forensic Laboratory, Central Police Laboratory, Expert of Supreme Court, Lawyers from different Bar Associations.

Interaction conducted in Forensic Science

Nepal Forensics Society (NeFoS) successfully organized one day Interaction Program on 2nd July 2008 at Nepal Forensic Laboratory, Khumaltar, Lalitpur with participation almost of all  of Forensic Experts from National Laboratory, Central Police Laboratory, Supreme Court and Lawyers of various Bar Associations and the Crime Investigators of Police Departments .The program was chaired by Mr. Padma Raj Kaphle, Nepal's Leading Questioned Documents Examiner and Layer specialized in this field, President of Nepal Forensics Society ( NeFoS)  with chief guest Mr. B.Lal, Senior most Retd. Forensic Document Examiner of Government of India.

Nefos general meeting was held at hotel Maharaja, Kathmandu on Ashad, 2063 . The general meeting had been elected following officers anonymously its executive for the period of   2063 to 2066 as per its constitution.
