16bit Goldeneye Setup Uploader

Only use with Win 3.1 or Win 9X. Maybe NT would work, but later versions of Windows will not allow port access. This is a 16bit app, built with Turbo C 2.1, source provided.

This allows you to patch and upload setups to Goldeneye, as well as read player coordinates and view certain statistics. To use, you must have at least a bi-directional LPT port, Gameshark/Action Replay version 3.2 or higher, the GEstage.exe, and either PATCH.bin or PALCH.bin, depending on if you are playing North American NTSC or PAL. There is no Japanese support, mostly because I don't have a copy of their Action Replay BIOS to confirm the address ranges written to.

This can only use uncompressed Goldeneye Setup files. Build or download a setup file from the editor, then upload using this tool.

To upload, on any of the folder menus, select 'Patch' from the menu. This does the same thing as the gameshark codes normally would, patching the game to allow setups to be uploaded. All stages are affected.
Once patched, select a stage as normal, and then when the screen remains black and the music is playing, select upload. Type in the filename for your stage setup, keeping in mind this is a console program and lots of spaces or a whole lot of characters will likely fry it. Once uploaded, the game will resume normal operation and you'll be returned to the main menu. In a few moments the stage should start.
