Ø      Family neighborhood

 

7.  Descriptions of “Ideal Neighborhood”:

 

Ø      Crime and drug free

Ø      People take pride where they live

Ø      Houses kept up

Ø      Be able to sit on front porch safely

Ø      Safe neighborhood

Ø      Government assisted housing crime free

Ø      Be able to sleep at night

Ø      Good renters

Goal #1:  START A NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION

 

     Neighborhood Objectives:

 

Ø      Hold monthly meetings

Ø      Elect officers, prepare bylaws, register with city

Ø      Encourage neighborhood activity

Ø      Partner with United Way

Ø      Partner with Police

Ø      Partner with City

Ø      Willow Road Church provide meeting room

Ø      Support association

Ø      Support neighborhood effort
