7.      Descriptions of “Ideal Livable Neighborhood”:

 

No loud radios; no sewer smell; clean streets; operable, clean and orderly alleys; grocery store; drug store; no drug houses; no slum lords; no working women; no cat problems; underground utilities; businesses back in Haynie’s Corner; restaurants; sidewalks repaired; more new trees; lower and more appropriate street lights; signage for historic area; slower traffic on Second and Third; stop lights or four-way stops on Second and Third; police on bicycles; Main Street opened; renovated river front; Greenway finished; signs during construction for historic homes; minimum code compliance, hefty fines or City take over; homes not with nor allowed to have multiple apartments; rental unit license required with inspections; lower taxes; South sector office open twenty-fours a day; more than one officer on duty after 11 P.M.
