6. Residents’ Description of their Neighborhood:
This
portion was mistakenly combined with the visioning exercise. However, people
did point out that progress has been made in some areas (e.g. getting Fulton
Park, saving the fire station on Franklin Avenue, changing speed limit on First
Avenue, etc.)
7. Descriptions of “Ideal Neighborhood”:
The visioning here consisted of people envisioning
the neighborhood five years hence. Mention was made that STAR neighborhood is
like two separate neighborhoods, with Columbia Street being the dividing line.
