 (Assets were taken, but only two were recorded: Rathbone Home and Culver School)

 

  1. Descriptions of “Ideal Livable Neighborhood”:

 

Restored homes; *better traffic; *replaced sidewalks; *underground utilities; *small shops (Haynie’s Corner); *replaced trees; *clean & paved alleys; *new lighting; *increased police presence; * grocery stores; *safe at night; *habitat homes that fit; *scooper laws; *garbage cans out for only one day; *no prostitutes or drug dealers; *no boarded up houses; *trolleys; *replaced & repaired storm and sanitary sewers; *intersection at Walnut and Veterans Pkwy.; *new and improved parks; *no bee’s slough; *bike lanes; *pedestrian access to Sunrise Park; *stricter code enforcement on landloards; *no loud music, barking dogs, stray cats; *historic signs; *open Main Street; *Greenway Project completed; *no more homes allowed to become multiple dwellings; *less taxes; *South Sector still open; *reactivated neighborhood watch.
