*note - if you find anything wrong with the pattern let me know right away. I made this before my daughter was born and did not right anything down, so I am counting stitches here*
Tools:
Lion Brand Baby Soft yarn (1 skein)
4 or 5 mm crochet hook ( to gauge)
tapestry needle
Gauge:
18 dc=4"
Level:
Beginner
Directions:
(make 2)

Arms:
ch 53
Row 1: DC in 4th ch from hook and each ch to end [50 dc]
Rows 2-4: ch3, skp first dc, dc in each dc to end and in previous rows ch-3
tie off and break yarn
Body:
Row 1: sl to join to 16th dc, ch3, dc in next dc and following 19 dc [20 dc]
Rows 2-4: ch3, skp first dc, dc in next 18 dc and in previous rows ch-3 [20 dc]
tie off and break yarn
Finishing:
sew both sides together with right sides facing
turn sweater right side out
Edging:
Bottom eding:
starting at one of your seams (on the RS) sc around entire bottom [40 sc]
Neck edging
starting at one of your seams (on the RS) sc around entire neck [40 sc]
Weave in all ends
