| Marya was another mare I found on my trip to Russia. This mare had been put out to pasture for a few years after some dressage training. I saw her while I was walking around the farm and the moment I laid eyes on her I knew I had to have her. She has one of the most amazing strides and she is so very supple. I put a saddle on her for the first time in over 6 months and it felt as if she had just been ridden. She is one of the kindest souls I have ever encountered, along with one of the smartest horses I have ever met, maybe even too smart for her own good. Between her intelligence, stride and kind soul, Marya which means beloved, just had to be mine. She was not up for sale but by the time I left she was mine! |
