| Tuesday morning Caitlin and I had our first session at Blacks. It was a little unorganized and closed out, but other than that I had an awesome session with some 3-4 ft surf, 6ft sets. | |||||||||||||||

| I was talking to some surfer who just came up the path, and at one point he saw my camera and DVR and asked if I was taking photos for Surfline. I thought to myself that would be pretty cool. | |||||||||||||||

| The surf was too big and disorganized at Blacks for Caitlin to get out, so after I caught a few fun waves there we headed to the Mission Jetty. | |||||||||||||||

| Now, Blacks was an awesome session for me, no doubt in my mind. After about half an hour at the Jetty, though, Blacks lost its glory. Good conditions, great shape, perfect size (slightly bigger than Blacks), not too crowded in the lineup, and shoulders both ways. I don't think I've ever ridden so many waves for so long in any one session alone. I caught the waves of my life during the session of my life. Sweetest surf ever. |
