"Waffen zum Holen des Friedens"
"Weapons to bring peace"
Erik Brentwood was a moderately successful soldier in the NGR military that happened to meet and seduce the daughter of a wealthy businessman from Munich. After his tour of duty was over and they were married he used a significant portion of his father in law's money to open Brentwood Tactical Industries and began production of a competitive series of S.D.C. weapons. Brentwood drew upon contacts that he had made in his career as a soldier to enlist the help of a few retiring NGR mechanics. With the help of his mechanic buddies he set about designing a series of S.D.C. side arms and rifles that were made of durable mega damage materials. These weapons could fire at increased rates and for longer periods of time without overheating due to their construction and were quickly adopted by several of the NGR's civilian police forces. Bolstered by his success Brentwood released several more experimental weapon systems on the market many of which were quickly recalled and scrapped due to a lack of consumer response. However, a few of these designs caught on and are still in production today.
What does BTI offer? BTI sends out durable, if not high
quality firearms that have proven dependable and even surpass those offered
by other less reputable companies. They carry only two caliber of firearms
a .45 caliber and a .50 caliber. Both have been tried and accepted by the
military and police forces of the NGR. And BTI is a constant source of
new experimental weapon systems as they attempt to develop new markets,
and as patriots new ways to defeat the hordes that threaten their good
nation.

Experimental:
BTI is constantly adding new experimental weapon systems to this
list. Many of them never become popular and
are dropped from production. The following are a few of the more
successful weapons to date. Feel free to add
your own experimental weapons.
Pneumatic Air Bow
This rifle like weapon employs air cartridges to fire
arrows from its barrel. It is a silent weapon that releases a soft gasp
of air when it is fired. Intended to be used to hunt game, this weapon
sometimes finds itself in the hands of criminals who are trying to remain
silent but deadly.
Cartridge: Arrow
Feed: 1 Arrow
Range: 800 ft.
Damage: 2d6 S.D.C. (Note: Can also use any type of modern
arrow.)
Cost: 3550 Credits
Twin Barreled Pneumatic Air Bow
This weapon is the same as the regular air bow except
that it has two barrels in a side by side configuration.
Again it is a weapon meant to be used for hunting, that
is sometimes used for much more devious activities.
Cartridge: Arrow
Feed: 2 Arrows
Range: 800 ft.
Damage: 2d6 S.D.C. (Note: Can also use any type of modern
arrow.)
Cost: 4550 Credits
Needler
This weapon fires needles of metal like a miniature rail
gun, and uses the same magnetic firing system just a much weaker S.D.C.
version.
The original idea was to create a lightweight rail gun,
preferably a pistol that normal humans could use. Unfortunately the technology
wasn't available quite yet, so they settled for an very small projectile
from a relatively small gun. This weapon is capable of firing at unheard
of rates of speed, but it's projectiles are little more then 2 inch long
spikes, or needles. With a very short effective range, and low damage capabilities
this weapon should have faded into obscurity if not for one interesting
feature; needles can be made to inject the target with various drugs and
toxins. This makes them highly desirable by bounty hunters, assassins,
even zoo keepers have been known to purchase these weapons. Slowly legislation
is being perused to make these weapons illegal, but for now they are fair
game.
Cartridge: Needler Rounds
Feed: 30 round box magazine
Range: 110 ft.
Damage: 1d4 S.D.C. (Note: Additional drug, or poison
effects if used.)
Cost: 6500 Credits

BTI Sales Representative O.C.C.
The BTI Sales Rep. is one of the most demanding civilian
jobs a person could have in Europe. Similar to a Naruni Sales Rep. he is
responsible for traveling to new markets and expanding the companies influence.
These representatives can be found traveling the continent with bands of
mercenaries, and other adventurers seeking out small kingdoms and cities
and attempting to convince them that they need the protection that can
only be found in quality firearms from BTI.
For the most part this is a terrible job with a surprisingly high mortality rate. It seems other unknown enemies are out there (Atlantis, and Mindwerks) who are determined to stop the spread of these weapons with deadly force. Let alone the reps are forced to travel through gargoyle, and brodkil infested lands. Only the toughest and bravest of applicants are now accepted to perform this task, and they are trained not only in salesmanship, but also in the art of war. It's a dangerous world out there, and BTI believes it will take weapons to bring peace to it at last.
