1. What is a LARP?
Well for all those who don't know, a LARP is a Live Action Role Playing game. Where you "assume" the role of a character you create in a storyline provided by a HST or Head Storyteller. This Larp is based off of White Wolf's Vampire.
2. I heard evil things about Vampire games, what makes this different than those wierd people.
Well we are a little wierd people, some are just more open with their wierdness. Besides those evil things you hear about are people with serious problems. But anyways. For starters there are rules to every game people. And this game is no different. If you wonder about the rules, email me you find out, OR the really cool alternative is go out and find the book LAWS OF THE NIGHT. Waldenbooks has it along with probably the only game shop in Williamsport has it. Revised Edition please.
3. Ok, I either email you and got the rules or i was cool and bought the book. Now what about characters?
Ok character are what you portray IC or in character. The snazzy thing is your character doesn't have to be anything like you (which is a good thing in some cases) But explore the web page, there are clans you chose from (specialize blood, and no there is no real blood or violence but see #4 for explaination). And you create from there. Either ask me or get this cool downloadable program called grapevine, it makes creating character alot easier, but it helps to have the laws with you on character creation.
4. Ok character made, since this is vampire is there real blood and violence.
No. Simply put, all blood and violence is created in you mind's eye. No real blood. And you can't actually touch people (unless you have their concent and even then it has to be proper no actually hitting someone or bad touch to sum up the hormone stuff). Yes though character do fight but in a arousing game of rock, paper, scissors. Yes people, you heard right. for instance "I am brutal enough to hit you." And your charcter would be like "I am tough enough to take it" so you throw rock paper scissor to see who wins (the real simple explination of it at least). Oh i throw rock and you threw scissors. I win and my character "hit" your character and you weren't tough enought to take it. More on that later.
5. I am really intrested in playing, but _______________.
well that but is whatever else there is to explain. I am trying to restart something here in this area. And the only way it will happen is finding people intrested in it as much as i am.
