| MIKE the MANGLER didn't have much luck with the ladies. As a chemist by day, he made a decent living and his musical talents on sax and flute were amazing, but still, his love life left much to be desired. He secretly began to try to perfect a pill that would make women fall at his feet, but when he'd slip one of the many versions of his chemical formula into an unsuspecting woman's drink, the results were inevitably disatrous. Instead of falling in love with him, they would either run screaming with sudden insanity into the streets and into impending traffic-related doom, or their physical beauty would twist into horrible deformity. Broken hearted and evilly driven, Mike the Mangler's teaming with Smilin' Jack, Glooo and Cliff Bundy seemed to him to be his last chance of catching the brass ring, and possibly true love. |
