Clarence served his country from 1942-1945 in the Pacific Theater of WW2. He served in the 7th Calvery and was present when they were reawarded the colors lost in the Battle of Little Bighorn. He recieved the Purple Heart.
He served in the Korean War as well as three tours in Vietnam. He continued to work for the military and retired at the rank of Seargent Major. In 1992 at the outbreak of the 1st Gulf War, at the age of 68, he walked into the recruiting office and volanteered to go. He was a good man and a loving grandfather.
