"... he impressed with his brilliant technique and suggestive lyricism. The emotionally experienced and developed compositions od Scriabin and Liszt show up the interpretative possibilities of the young pianist, wich are not negligible ..." Maja Blagojevic (RTS, 20. December 1997)

"... as if his piano were made of steel ..." Slobodan Turlakov (Teatron 108, Belgrade, Autumn 1999, 146)

"... his virtuosic and temperamental performance of Piano Concerto No.1 by P. I. Tchaikovsky brought both the orhcestra and the audience to their feet ..." Milena Marjanovic (Blic 959, Belgrade, 28 September 1999, 14)

"...this young man has an unquestionable gift, great enthusiasm and swing, he supplies a daring, steely tone, so that everything bursts beneath his fingers, but is not devoid of characteristic, specific individuality, rather the contrary!" ..." Slobodan Turlakov (Teatron 109, Belgrade, Winter 1999, 129)

"... this is a really worthy and promising pianist, who already atteined a good command of all those pianistic qualities on which an enviable career can develop ... We have heard .. a powerful, virily steely tone, not in the least dry and wooden, but voraciously succulent and seductively noble; his secure and brilliant technique makes possible the effotless and captivating rendering both of robust techniques with a barrage of octaves, and pearly strings of beads; ... his expressive, relief playing finds its way to listeners with ease, seducing and captivating them ..." Slobodan Turlakov (Teatron 111, Belgrade, Summer 2000, 146)

Nebojsa Maksimovic has all the necessary perequisites of a great pianist: an absolute sense of tone and an exeptional sense of sophisticated phrase, strong hands able to interpret even the most complex accords with perfect ease, a soft, gentle, sweet piano, a thundering forte which creates the impression that he is playing more than one instrument. Moreover, Nebojsa Maksimovic also has a special feeling for Liszt. At his recital held in the Gallery of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, he "walked" through Liszt's most beautiful piano pieces - with a feeling of deep compassion he entered the "Funerailles", the renaissance spirit of Sonetto del Petrarca (No. 104), the temperamental csardas of Hungarian Rhapsodies, the magical dance of Spanish motifs. With endless tenderness he intoned the Consolation (No. 3 in D flat Major). This twenty-two year old left an especially striking impression on the listeners with his tones of Verdi's "Rigoletto", so plastic, full of life, warmth and empathy. Gordana Krajacic (Blic, May 15th, 2001.)

".........his playing had epic depth.in Chorale Prelude by Bach / Busoni, and tremendous passion wich tends towards ecstasy in works by Liszt ("Rigoletto" Paraphrase, Sonetto No. 104 del Petrarca, Hungarian Rhapsody No. 6).....he is phenomenal in virtuoso passages......" Gordana Krajacic (Blic, December 9th, 2002.)

"....in packed concert hall Banski Dvor, the audience listened with great enthusiasm Nebojsa Maksimovic's skills.....the wizard of sound" (Glas srpski, Banjaluka, April 5th, 2003.)

".....he displayed dexterity and virtuosity....the audience get a chance to enjoy.... he didn't try to hide.his tendency towards perfection, serious approach and love for music...." (Nezavisne novine, Banjaluka, April 5th, 2003.)

"......the programm wich is very demanding for performer and attractive for an audience.......excellent, natural and temperamental interpretation....." (M. Rastovic, Gradjanski list, Novi Sad, November 6th, 2003.)

"Nebojsa Maksimovic performed the big Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto in D Minor like a old pianist, not an young one concerning his wise keeping of strenght as well as the way he divided virtuoso climaxes and reflective dreaming. With moments of shine (octaves in particular), in this playing nothing seemed that it is one of the most difficult Piano Concertos, and that was the case with the greatest performers of Opus 30. The audience heard that also and gave Maksimovic ovations......" Aleksandar Gatalica (Vecernje novosti, Beograd, December 22nd, 2003.)

“……he builded volcanic, storming, briliant passages and phenomenal independence of his left hand in the pieces by Liszt, Rachmaninov, Horowitz....” Gordana Krajacic (Dnevnik, Novi Sad, July 11th. 2004.)

Kritike

"....impresionirao je briljantnom tehnikom i izrazajnim lirizmom. Emotivno dozivljene i nadgradjene kompozicije Skrjabina i Lista upucuju na interpretativne mogucnosti mladog pijaniste koje nisu zanemarljive..." Maja Blagojevic (RTS, 20.12.1997.)

"..njegov klavir kao da je od celika..." Slobodan Turlakov (Teatron 108, Beograd, jesen 1999, 146)

"...virtuoznim i temperamentnim izvodjenjem koncerta br.1 P.I. Cajkovskog podigao je na noge i orkestar i publiku..." Milena Marjanovic (Blic 959, Beograd 28.9.1999, 14)

"...taj mladic ima nesumnjivog dara, velikog poleta i zamaha, herojski, celicni ton, tako da ispod njegovih prstiju sve prsti i nije bez obelezavajuce individualnosti, naprotiv!..." Slobodan Turlakov (Teatron 109, Beograd, zima 1999, 129)

" Gordana Krajacic (Blic, 15. maja 2001.)

".....nastupio je epski siroko u Bahovom Koralu, a strasno do ekstaticnosti u Listovim kompozicijama (Parafraza na "Rigoleto", Petrarkin Sonet br. 104, Madjarska rapsodija br. 6).....sjajan u briljantnim pasazima...." Gordana Krajacic (Blic, 9. 12. 2002.)

Aleksandar Gatalica (Vecernje novosti, Beograd, 22. 12. 2003.)

“……izgradio je vulkanski burne briljantne pasaze i fenomenalno osamostaljenu levu ruku u delima Lista, Rahmanjinova, Horovica…..” Gordana Krajacic (Dnevnik, Novi Sad, 11. 7. 2004.) )
