State Qualifing Proceedures

Nebraska USA State Qualifying Information.......

• The District lines have been removed, now you may wrestle and qualify outside of your district.
• You may wrestle in as many qualifiers as you choose located anywhere in the state.
• Kids and Cadets must qualify for freestyle state, by placeing in the top 4 at one of the qualifiers.
• Kids and Cadets your lowest qualifing weight is the lowest your allowed to wrestle at state, regionals and nationals.
• Each District Director is still in charge of directing USA Wrestling with in their district.
• Each District Director is asked to set up at least 3 state qualifiers from with in each of the former districts bounderies.
• In the past we have had 5 District qualifiers, now we are asking for at least 15 qualifiers spread accross the state.
• State Greco Roman is an open state with no qualifying required at any age.
• Open freestyle State for Juniors and Open Division, they do not have to wrestle in a qualify.
• Juniors however must wrestle in one other USA sanctioned tournament to be eligable for state aid at a national event
• No qualifing rquired for the girls/ladies portion of the state USA tournament

Please Host a USA Freestyler Qualifier.......for your the wrestlers in your area

• All ages and weights must be USA sanctioned
• One dollar of each entry goes back to the state
• Each wrestler must have a USA card to wrestle in the qualifier
• All officials used must be USA registered officials
• Tournament must be USA sanctioned
• A list of qualifiers must be sent in to the state
• Host will keep all of the gate, concessions, and most of the entry fee.
