Outline

I. Introduction -
As long as humans have free will, there can never be a society bereft of prejudices and a feeling of superiority by one group, race, or culture over another group, race, or culture. Enslavement often accompanied this illiberality. On another, less radical side of the matter, society plays a major role in oppressing individuals and groups. No matter how people or peoples are persecuted, some always seek their own freedom, be it literally the freedom from bondage or the freedom of individualism.
