Nebraska escaped the flury that was literally thrown at them by Kinsbury to defeat Texas Tech 34-30.

Nebraska took the lead with :11 seconds left in the game.  The Huskers drove 58 yards in 36 seconds for the winning TD after Texas Tech took what looked like the final lead of the game with a field goal with 48 seconds left in the game.

Texas Tech's Kinsbury threw for 351 yards and 3 TD's and was named the player of the game.  Texas Tech scored 10 crucial points in the 4th quarter after Nebraska took a 27-20 lead.  Kinsbury hooked up with Falls on a 3rd and goal from the 2 and Greathouse kicked a 29 yard field goal with 48 seconds left after a drive that was set up on a Groce fumble on a punt return.

With 47 seconds left on the clock, Nebraska started at their own 30 yard line.  The first play, Lord rolled out to the right and connected with Thomas for a 48 yard gain.  Lord ran an option keeper to the 7 yard line the very next play.  Two plays later, Kastl dove in from the 1 for the winning TD.

Series Info:
Nebraska is a perfect 6-0 against Texas Tech.  Nebraska pounded the Red Raiders last year 56-3.

With Crouch still out, Lord will again have to lead this team to many early scores. Lord ran for 157 yards last game and averaged 8.7 yards per carry.  The defense finally played like they can in the 2nd half of the Baylor game last week.  They will need to step up this week and shut down Williams.
