NOTES:
Nebraska came from behind in the 4th quarter to beat Oklahoma 20-17 in a defensive battle. This game was looking very similiar to last years 31-14 win by OU when Nebraska went up early 13-0. Brown got the scoring started with a 31 yard field goal. After keeping OU's offense in check and getting the ball back, Crouch took the first play from scrimmage 80 yards for a touchdown. Brown added another 29 yard field goal before the 1st quarter ended. Oklahoma took over the game from there.

OU's next possession was a quick 75 yard stirke to Fagan for touchdown. Duncan kicked a 29 yard field goal to cut the lead to 13-10 before halftime. Oklahoma's defense stuffed Nebraska's option attack the entire 2nd quarter.

The game went back and forth for most of the 3rd quarter with out any scoring until Oklahoma's Griffin had a spectacular 64 yard touchdown run late in the quarter. Nebraska's offense didn't move the ball at all the entire 3rd and 4th quarter until Oklahoma's Griffin fumbled the ball at the Nebraska 38 yard line with 2:35 to play. Nebraska needed six plays to put it in the endzone with 1:05 left in the game.

Series Info:

Oklahoma leads this series 40-36-3. Nebraska has owned this series the last 12 games going 9-3, but Oklahoma has had the last laugh with last year's dominating 31-14 performance.

Prediction:

Nebraska's defense is still struggling. Lucky for the, Hybl is out. They will still face a strong passing attack with White and Fagan. Griffin is also very dangerous on the ground. Look for this one to be close.
