NOTES: (best game so far!)

This game seemed as if it were going to be 1997 all over again!  Nebraska overcame a 21-7 halftime deficit to hold off the Missouri Tigers 35-28.

Nebraska returned the 2nd half kickoff to the Mizzou 49 yard line.  3 plays later, they were in the endzone.  Two plays later, Groce intercepted a Farmer pass and ran it to the Mizzou 3 yard line.  Nebraska tied the game less than 2 minutes into the 2nd half.

Nebraska looked to be on their way to a 28-21 lead with 4:00 to go in the game when Diedrick fumbled the ball at the Mizzou 11 yard line.  Mizzou picked up the fumble and ran to the Nebraska 37 yard line.  Two plays later they were in the endzone for a 28-21 lead.

Nebraska wasted no time in driving the length of the field to tie the game with 1:39 left.  Mizzou looked as if they wanted to go into overtime running three straight plays up the middle.  Nebraska used their timeouts and got the ball back with :45 left at the Mizzou 48-yard line.  Crouch quieted the crowd with a 28 yard option keeper the first play of the drive.  Davies finished off the drive going 7 yards for the TD with :11 seconds left in the game.  Nebraska improved to 5-0 while Mizzou fell to 2-2

Series Info:
Nebraska leads the series 54-29-3.

Prediction
:
Nebraska will have to quiet this very loud Farout Field crowd early and not them be a factor in the game.  The Husker defense again is not keeping points off the board.  The Nebraska defense let Missouri rack up 492 yards last year  If Nebraska is going to win this, they will need to keep pressure on Farmer.  Farmer lit the Nebraska secondary up last year throwing for 184 yards and rushing for another 83.
