FRONT YARD
The house is our main source of comment at Christmas, being seen comming up the street, or just passing by on  I-70. We have been told that people make it a point to drive by every year, some from over 50 miles away.
During the daytime, ribbons and bows are the bulk of the outside decorations, along with items sitting on the porch and yard.
Our 1954 Dodge pickup even becomes a decoration, hauling a cut tree to the house, tied with ribbons and bows.
The snow that covered the area the week before the tour was a challenge, but we did get the street and sidewalks cleared in time.
The white pine tree in the front yard came from Tom's grandmothers farm years ago, and although the snow and ice bent the branches to the ground, it seems to have survived well.
