WEEKLY NEWS AND UPDATES

All i can say is wow, except for an extrememly exciting fight to the finish this season. It is a great feeling of accomplishment when you qualify for the feature right from your heat race. We are prou that with the exception of one week when we blew a motor, we made it in every feature transfering from the heat race. We are happy to say that we got 7th place in points this season.

We ran a special on labor day for some end of the season fun, i turned out to be alot of fun. Very exciting. This is the way the track writer put it:
"The American Auto Sales Stock feature would start the main events and show why they have been such a quality class all year long. Side by side action started at the drop of the green as Gary Neau and Mark Schultz paced the field, Neau would grab the early lead then lose it to Schultz. Schultz would begin to build a slight lead over the field until a caution for the expired engine of Alan Long would pack things back together. Schultz would continue to lead at the restart but that lead would vanish when the 70 car slid high and slammed the wall on the back stretch. One mans misfortune is another mans fortune. Gary Neau would be the beneficiary of the crash and move into the lead position with Jerry Kope tracking him. Neaus lead would not last long as this years track champion would take the lead on the back stretch. Not finished yet, Neau would streak past Kope on the back stretch. Jim Williams would follow Neau past Kope and move into the second position. Neau, Kope, and Williams would continue to battle with Neau leading until lap 19. On lap 19 Neau would slide up the track and allow Kope to slip to the inside position. On a great last lap battle, Kope would slide past to take the checkered flag. Neau, Williams, Jeff Jahnke, and Tim Montonati would complete the top five."

I am so proud of the team this year, infact every year i am. but they have stuck with me and we are all learning so much. It is such a great feeling for my peers to come up to us in the pits and say great job, you were definatly better than me this week. such a good feeling.

I AGAIN WANT TO TAKE THIS TIME TO THANK ALL MY SPONSORS, THEY ARE A VERY IMPORTANT PART OF THIS TEAM. WE COULD NOT BE THIS GOOD OR COMPETATIVE WITHOUT THEM.

I also have some great news, the fair on Sunday Aug 17, 2003  With the help of J & R Motorsports and Neauracing, My cousin Jimmy "the tire Man" ran in the demolition derby. way to go Jimmy Jam, (look for more pics in the briefcase) .
