"WORDSWORTH" 10 NEAUM CRAG COURT, SKELWITH BRIDGE
Set in the secluded wooded grounds of Neaum Crag House on the hillside overlooking Skelwith Bridge, our ground floor apartment at Neaum Crag Court offers high quality self-catering accommodation in the very heart of the Lake District.  It combines a high standard of accommodation with a special location that includes views over the neighbouring fells around Elterwater and the Langdale Valley and has access to 200 acres of hillside.  At it�s annual inspection by the English Tourist Board it achieved a rating of three stars.

Our apartment sleeps four/six (one double and one twin bedded room, together with a double sofa bed in the lounge suitable for occasional use).  A collapsible cot is also available.  The apartment is heated by storage heaters, while an attractive electric stove provides additional heat to the lounge area.  Attractively furnished throughout it features fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with both bath and shower.  The kitchen features a cooker, oven, microwave, washer / tumble dryer, dishwasher, fridge, waste disposal unit, coffee maker, toaster etc., while the lounge has a television, video, DVD and mini hi-fi.  In the lounge you will also find a selection of games, guide books, maps and a collection of holiday information leaflets.  On the patio can be found garden furniture and a barbecue.  Car parking space has been allocated at the side of the apartment block for two cars.
Lounge
On site, and available to holiday makers free of charge, is a small Scandinavian style pool complex, which houses a sauna, small swimming pool and jacuzzi, table tennis table, recreational area, shop, telephone and laundry room.  However, please note that while our apartment is available all year round, facilities in the pool complex are only available from the 1st March through to the 15th November each year.
Kitchen / Dining Area
The apartments central location makes access easy to all the National Park�s classic beauty spots.  A break at Neaum Crag offers the walker an ideal base to explore the valleys, fells and mountains of the Lake District.  Elterwater, the Langdale Valley and Scafell lie to the west. Grasmere, Rydal Water, Keswick, Derwent Water and Helvellyn to the north. Ambleside, Windermere and Ullswater to the east and Tarn Hows, Coniston, Hawkshead and Grisedale to the south.  Ambleside is just three miles away and as well as it�s fine selection of shops and restaurants it offers tennis, putting, bowls, a four screen cinema, and boating and steamer / ferry trips on Windermere.  Locally, at Skelwith Bridge, Elterwater Village and Chapel Stile, can be found good public houses, providing both meals and drinks.  Also at Skelwith Bridge, which is just a short walk from the apartment, can be found the Kirkstone slate gallery, gift shop and tea rooms.
