Lauren I am thinking about you a lot today as you begin your chemotherapy. When you get older and re-read this fabulous journal that your Aunt Nean is keeping for you, you will realize what a great big 'extended family' you had praying for you and keepin you close in our hearts. Lauren, I'm going to LA tomorrow, but I will be reading all the words and especially Auntie Nean's updates while I'm gone. I like your song more each time I play it - sometimes on guitar, sometimes on piano. I think it will have both in it when I recor it. Dear Lauren and family, Our experience with cancer taught us that "Jesus did not come to explain away suffering or remove it. He came to fill it with his presence." Lauren's message board is proof of that. At a time like this there are know right words but it always is darker be ore the light. Bill, Debbie, and family too: It is all too obvious that you have such a precious little angel. Her photos tell you that. Please know that Lauren and you all are in the prayers of me and my family. Lauren's sickness is just a bump in the road of your ives. Although it may seem hard to believe now, you will soo look back at this and wonder how you got through it. Between all the friends and families, and complete strangers who have been praying for you, it is just a matter of time, a difficult time, u til things are back to normal.
