Good Evening, Lauren!! I hope you had a good day and that you are recovering well from your last chemo round. Kermit and Ivy are fast asleep and look like little Labbie angels. Kermit is having a rough time learning his position in our house but we are orking it out with him. He spent more time in "time out" today!! He is beginning to fetch a tennis ball and actually bring it near to where I am! Have pleasant dreams sweet Lauren! Love, Margi

Good Evening, Lauren!! Whew! I've had another busy day--early this morning I made a cherry pie for company, read the Sunday paper, played and trained Kermit, walked. So many things to do! Lauren, I am so happy to hear that this round of Chemo has been easier for you. I have been following your progress over the last few months and I am just in awe over how strong you are. Later this month my family is going on a trip to Ohio thanks to Make-A-Wish. My son Lynn has Sturge-Weber Syndrome and has been in and out of the hospital most of his life.When we get back I will email your Mom about our trip and maybe she can contact Mak -A-Wish for you and they will let you wish anything you want and they will work very hard to see that you get what you want. Good Morning, Lauren!! Michigan is cloudy and rainy looking this morning but Ivy and I still did our walk. My little "piglet," Kermit, is sleeping like a baby right now---I call him piglet because he has such a round pink belly! He tried to bite Ivy's t il again this morning but she kept flapping and waving it around so he never could catch it in his mouth!! Are you in the hospital or at home? Well, wherever you are, I'm thinking about you a praying that you have a happy day with lots of loving from Mo , Dad, and Timmy!! Love, Margi

Good Morning, Lauren!! I'm wondering how this round of chemo is going for you, praying that it doesn't make you sick and that you can go home soon! It's wonderfully cool here this morning, the sky is a deep blue and the birds are singing! Kermit is learn ng his "sits" so well now but his leash training isn't so good. all he wants to do is bite it, even with tobasco sauce on it!! He spends lots of time chewing his toys and playing "ball!" I hope you can be home this weekend to play with Timmy! Ivy and ermit send lots of sloppy Labby kisses!! Love, Margi

Hi Lauren - loved the 4th of July picture of you and Mom. But where was your pretty denim hat?? Got to watch the sun on that little head - after I lost my hair from chemo I got quite a few sunburns up there. Infact, one time, I had a straw hat on with lower cut outs and - you guessed it - I ended up with flower shaped sunburn! I just told everyone that it was the fashion at the time. There are quite a few of us at the Bank following your "adventure" and continue to pray for a full recovery for you. And don't you forget, little one, that this is just one chapter in your book of life. Someday, when you're older, you'll be writing to s meone with cancer to give them the encouragement they need to be as brave and strong as you have been. So many of your friends have dogs! Me too - a shepard/lab and shepard/husky and they love to kiss too. When you're better, you'll have to ask Mommy and Daddy to bring you down to Flemington to meet Cookie and Molly. I know they'll have plenty of kisses for you and Timmy! Good luck with this round of chemo, Lauren. We all love you!

Happy Fourth of July, Lauren! Did you have a good day with Timmy, Elizabeth, and all the dogs? I went to a barbecue today at my sister's house- she has a HUGE Kenzie dog, he gives kisses to everyone all day long. We had lots of fireworks, did you get to see any? I don't like the noi e a lot, but I do like all the colors. When Hunter heard the fireworks the other night, he hid under my legs and barked at them- he gets so silly! I hope this next round at the hospital goes really quick and doesn't make you too sick. I'll be thinking about you and praying for you. Love, Jane

Happy 4th of July Lauren!!! Aunt Nean says you had a great day with all of your family for a celebration! Did you wear out all of the Labbies throwing balls into the pond for them to retrieve? What fun that must have been! And I like the new picture of y u and your Mom...such precious smiles! When Ivy and I walk in the morning we will be praying that your next chemo round will be easier for you and that it will be over real fast! We are watching some fireworks on TV that are being set off in NYC and it m de me think of you! Hi Lauren!! Did you have fun at your Grandma's house with your family and Aunt Nean's Labbies? We had a great time at our picnic! Looks like lots of people have had strabismus...so did my niece, Susanne. She wore glasses until she was old enough to wea contacts and now she is 21 and has contacts with no problems!! Kermit is asleep at my feet...he loves Ivy's blankie and drags it all over! It's rainy and humid here, lots of hungry, biting mosquitos outside! Hi, Lauren. Guess what? I have strabismus, too! I had my first surgery when I was about 3 years old, and then 33 years later, I had surgery again. I wear glasses to help me see better as the vision in my strabismus eye is not very good. Until my adul surgery, I was able to wear contact lenses and no one ever knew I had a problem. I'm glad you're feeling better and hope that your eye surgery is a complete success. Love, Jo-Anne P.S.> I just got home from Las Vegas and would you believe I went to visit M & M's World? Yep, anything and everything you could ever imagine withe M & M's on it. Sheets for your bed, pajamas, pillows, cups, plates, clothes, slippers, toys, plush toys nd more. But the best thing of all, was an entire wall filled with dispensers of M & M's in every color of the rainbow. Not just the regular old boring colors you get in a regular package... pink, purple, white, black, mint green, shocking pink, lilac, aby blue and more. Oh, Lauren, I didn't know what color to eat first! It was so much fun! And they all tasted so good.

Hi Lauren! It's a "beautiful day in my neighborhood!" No clouds in the bright blue sky. Later I must get outside to work in the garden. I have some deep red lillies to plant near your tree! I am sorry I missed writing to you yesterday but having a Ke zie puppy sometimes turns my day upside down and I forget some important things. He's a good baby, sleeps all night and loves to eat! He's still trying to bite Ivy's nose, ears, paws, and tail so I watch him carefully! I'll send some pictures to Aunt Nea for you to see. Well, this morning I saw a great big garden snake wiggling across our driveway and slip under the crack by the door. I sure hope he's not making a home in the garage or basement. I'm going to a picnic tomorrow--we're having hot dogs, p tato salad and apple pie!! MMMMMM!! I hope you have loads of fun at your grandma's house, eating and playing and throwing balls into the pond for Aunt Nean's Labbies! Good afternoon, Lauren!! Hope you are having a good day, playing outside, running with Timmy. You have such a busy schedule ahead of you but be assured that I'm saying many, many prayers for you and Mom, Dad, & Timmy! Kermit is napping on my feet right now, he's so warm and soft! Hi Lauren! Wow! I am so tired tonight. I brought Kermit ( the Kenzie puppy, the green one on the pics I sent to you) home today and so we have been going outside, then inside, all afternoon!! He is a busy boy, has sniffed all over my house and has tried to bite Ivy's tail and feet!! She didn't like that and told him so!! I don't think he'll be doing that any more!!!Right now he and Ivy are sleeping, they are both worn out froom meeting each other!! I'm so glad to hear good news about you! Hi Lauren! Well, I'm so glad that you are home now and sleeping in your own bed and playing with your own toys! We are having a rainy afternoon so Ivy and I stayed inside to clean. I have to scrub Kermit's "condo" because he comes home tomorrow and he eeds a bed to sleep on. I tried to plant some lillies in your garden but the mosquitos attacked me in swarms so I gave up gardening for the day! Have sweat dreams tonight, Lauren! Love, Margi

Good Evening, Lauren! How are you, Sweet Little Angel?? Hope that nasty fever is gone and you are feeling better! I am ready to go to bed, tired out from all the work I did today.
