These are 2 pictures of last year's riders through parts of New England

On August 12th 2008, along with 100 other cyclists, I will begin a 450-mile, 5 day journey from Burlington, VT to Portland, ME, through 3 states, across 2 mountain ranges, and hundreds of local communities . This will be the 5th such AIDS charity ride I've participated in, and this year will be the 3rd in which I will participate as a rider. This year is especially important to me, because my partner Greg, and my brother Evan, will be riding alongside me on this amazing life experience. The money raised from this journey goes to two amazing vaccine research centers who are working tirelessly to find a vaccine for HIV/AIDS.

Over the last 6 years, this ride has raised over $650,000 dollars, and personally
thanks to the help of supporters nationwide, I have been able to raise over $6,000 dollars.

This is a picture of my bike, a Trek 1000, in Team Tigger Orange!

THE ROUTE


We start out on the shores of Lake Champlain in Burlington, VT on August 12th, and travel through Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine; 450 miles over 5 days. Finally we'll ride into downtown Portland. Once there, we'll take a Victory Ride into Deering Oaks Park for an emotional Closing Ceremonies on August 16th.
