| Eternal darkness:sanity's requim is a survival horror, but with a stange twist. There is a hidden race that wants back what was once there own land, these people are called the Ancients. You have to fight the ancients and take the nessisary action to stopping this threat taking over earth. During your quest through time you see humanity develop and along with that the technology and weapony that you can use againsed them. This craving to kill the enemy drives these characters to want to kill, and they become obsesive in destroying the Ancients. This is represnted by her hallucinations of horrible consequences leading to her death that she uncontrollably imagines, if she gets to close to an ancient or she doesn't kill enough of them in time. |
| Look at the emence detail and crisp windiw effects. The character seems as well made as the background which can commonly be disregarded in many exploring games such ass this. |

| The Ancients are a hidden race that have been in isolation since the beginning of the human race. They once inhabited earth just as we are, and they are now coming back at the begininning of the millania. Only one family know the truth of the ancients and is how you get to travel through 2000 years of battle againsed them. They strangly look like nightmareish zombie creatures, with scabby faces and skinless torso's. This makes it appear more like a resident evil game, and why it is set as a horror adventure. |
| There are areas in the game that make it seem more like an RPG, such as trying to trust other characters and unlocking puzzles. Here are a couple pictures that show some of the nintendo standards, unfortanatly that game play is left to your imagination. |

| This picture helps you portray the diffent eras that you travel through in the game. Excelent nintendo standards are shown in the great stances the enemy hold and how they manover around you. The back grounds in this room are detailed and are smoothly generated. Again the colours around the outside of the arena, in the sheilds probebly correspond to a puzzle in the game |
| This is yet another nicely rendered picture that shows highly detailed wallpaper and shadows. The interior has been given a dark faded colour to help give an errie atmosphere. It also makes the building appear old, which helps the player get used to the history of the game. Again the character is shown not standing out from her surroundings, this makes it appear more relaistic and shows how nintensdo have incorprated the lighting of the room onto the character also. The perspective is nicely shown by the sloping corridor in this picture. |
