Photography, especially macro or close-up, has always been one of our hobbies. Here is a small sampling of our favorite photos.

Here is Checkpoint Charlie along the Berlin Wall (not a friendly place back then). It ’s a digital scan originally taken with a Kodak Instamatic (and lot of retouching in Adobe Photoshop.) Dave was a tender 18 years old and toured Europe in the Summer of ’67.
...moving on to 1974, an Olympus OM-1 and my bride. (scanned again)
We entered the digital age with a Kodak DC-290 then moved on to a Nikon Coolpix 995, and recently a Nikon D-70.  Here ’s a reflection of concours preparation at a Porsche Club event in a 911T chrome wheel.
Here's the new super-macro setup. It’s a Nikon PB-4 bellows (optional extension ring at the rear) and a 55mm F2.8 Micro-Nikkor that can be reversed for even more magnification.

And here are two macro examples. On the left a close-up of the fuzzy leaf of Tillandsia duratii, and on the right the familiar face of Andrew Jackson...
