One of the things I love most about Christmas, (or any holiday) is the food. I love to make cookies, candies, and breads to share with friends and neighbors.
                                                          Turtles
1 pkg carmels
1/4 cup pet milk
2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 stick of paraffin
6 oz chocolate chips

Melt candy & pet milk in glass bowl in microwave, stirring often. When completely melted, remove and stir in pecans. Drop by spoonful unto a cookie sheet covered with wax paper. Chill until firm.
Melt parrafin and choc chips togather. Dip each piece of candy into choc mixture and let sit until dry.
                              Foolproof Chocolate Fudge
18 oz semi-sweet choc. chips
1.5 tsp. vanilla
1(14 oz) can Eagle Brand milk

1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Melt chips and milk over low heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat when smooth. Add vanilla and nuts and stir well.
Spread evenly into  a 8 in pan, lined with wax paper. Chill 2 hours. Turn out and cut into squares. Store covered.
                                                            Jingle Bells
1 20 oz roll sugar coolie dough
1 tbsp green sugar
1 tbsp red sugar
Holiday colored M&M's

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Unwrap cookie dough an  roll in colored sugar. Slice and fold top corners of each inward to form a bell. Place a M&M on each cookie for the clapper. Bake 8 to 12 mins.
                                          Boiled Cookies
2 cups sugar
4 tbsp cocoa
1/2 c milk
1 stick butter

1/2 c peanut butter
2 tbs vanilla
2 1/2 cups oats

Boil first 4 ingredients for 2 mins. Remove & stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop by spoonful onto wax paper and let sit until firm.
                                                       Peanut Butter Balls
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 tbsp butter
1 cup powdered sugar
chocolate dip

Stir togather peanut butter& margarine until creamy. Gradually add the sugar, stirring until combined. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on wax paper untily dry. Dip balls into choclate dip.
