I hope you will find an activity here that will work with your group. Our group is small so most of these activities are for small groups but I'm sure they can be adapted to work with bigger groups.
Gather various products from around the church or home such as breath mints, fabric stain spray, a can of pinto beans, a stapler, vitamins, etc. Divide the kids into small groups. The size of the group may depend on the number of items. Tell the kids to come up with a 30 to 60 second television commercial for their assigned product. Don't tell the other groups what your product is. Give them five or ten minutes to develop their commercial, then begin taking them into a prepared studio (a small classroom is fine) where they will do their commercial. Of course, a leader will be filming with the video camera. The other groups can be working on their commercials or doing another game while waiting for their "studio time."
After all the commercials are filmed, show them on TV to the whole group.
This is ideal for a lock-in.
In the following story, there are sixteen books of the Bible hidden. Can you find them all? (Hint: see judges)

I once made a remark about the hidden books of the Bible. It was a lulu, kept people looking so hard for facts and for others it was a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not capitalized, but the truth finally struck home to numbers of readers. To others it was real job. We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help them. I will quickly admit it usually takes a minister to find one of them and there will be loud lamentations when it is found. A little lady says she brews a cup of tea, so she can concentrate better. See how well you can compete. Relax now, for there really are sixteen names of books in the bible in this story. (One preacher found 15 books in 20 minutes but it took him three weeks to find the 16th.)
Divide group into two teams and give each team a styroam paperplate and a family size can of alphabet soup. Have them spell out as many word's from the Bible as they can using each letter (piece of soup) only once.
Place Dixie cups on a table in rows of 3 across. (Do this on both eneds of the table, this is a 2 team game.) In the first row of cup put a wedge of lemon, in the second row put a teaspoon of sugar, and in the third put a half of cup of water. Divide the kids into two teams, on go each kid runs down to the table, picks up the first cup and has to bite into the lemon, then picks up the second cup and pours the sugar into their mouth, then picks up the third cup and pours the water in their mouth. They have to jump up and down three times to shake the lemonade up, then run down and tag the next person in line.
Do a lock-in with a theme such as a fiesta.Have your decorations, food, etc. be in line for the theme. We did a fiesta complete with a pinata, Spanish names, tacos,& maracas.
Divide into two (or more) teams and give each team a sheet of paper with the alphabet from A-Z printed on it. Have you teams bring back one object beginning with each letter(we placed a rule that only one object could be purchased and it had to be under a dollar).Give extra points for orginality.Be sure every team has an adult to drive .)
Just like bingo, but make up bingo cards that have JESUS across the top rahter then BINGO. We marked the center square of the cards as "Salvation Free" which means it is a free square. The winner has to shout "JESUS SAVES" and has to shout it loud.
Get 5 - 9 kids in a circle and have them reach across and grab other's hands. They cannot grab their own hand no can they be holding both hands of someone else (i.e. each hand is holding someone else's hand).
Then they have to un-tangle themselves without letting go. It can always be done so don't let them give up.

The Marble-pickup consists of a bucket or container with 10 glass marbles inside. The trick is, that the container is filled with jello, and the team trying to get the marbles out have to use their toes
Get as many twister boards as you want. On each one of the colors you put a paper plate full of some type of food representing that color.(ie. egg yoke for yellow, blueberries for blue, green jello for green, ketchup for red) you play the game like you would normaly play. (Make sure the youth is prepared ahead of time for the mess and stains to follow).
