***The Worst facilities***
***North America***
West Edmonten Mall Dolphin tank:  These dolphins share one of the smallest tanks in the largest and most noisest mall.  I beleive at last count there are 2 of them. Not only is it stressful living in such a small tank, but it is hazardous to their health.  No fresh air,  constant yelling and screaming of people inside the mall, and probably careless or ingornant people dropping trash into the tank from the overhead walkways.
Miami Seaquarium: One lone orca shares north americas oldest and smallest orca tank with 4 dolphins.  She is currently one of the oldest orcas in captivity, being captured in 1970.  The main tank has hardly changed, with the exception of the backdrop.  The dolphin tank has changed very little also.  There currenly are several campaigns for lolita's return to the wild.
Marineland Canada: This facility is by far one of the worst facilities in North America.  The orca tank is far too small for even 1 orca, and the dolphin tank is not any better.  There have been reports of the dolphins and seals beaten on occasion,  and many orcas have died at this facility.   Currently 1 dolphin is housed in the aquarium theater, and 2 orcas are housed in the orca stadium.  Recently a new larger pool was built for them, and 5 or there orcas live in it.  It is better than the show pool,  but i still think that this place needs to be closed and orcas relocated.
