| This season our rugby teams did something that has not been done before! (Well in Eagle's history that is!) We took a little overnight 'tour' to Oshawa on Friday April 19 to Saturday April 20. Upon arrival we played a game against the Courtice team where the boys were victorious and the girls lost but had a blast. Our game was followed by a wonderful trip to our hotel in the pink bus! It was at this hotel where the fundamentals of pool rugby was created. I mean really who would have thought that a pool, a sandal, and two teams of rugby players could really be so entertaining. This tour really brought the teams together which we believe is reflected in our scores. We became like one big happy family and left that trip with lasting friendships, wonderful memories, great stories to tell, and almost no injury! |
