FUND-RAISING 2001

A student can earn a portion of the cost of his/her trip by participating in our fund-raising efforts.  We take any opportunity to earn funds that is presented to us.  Denise Reddinger heads up the efforts, and the funds earned by students is deposited into a HAPO account, earmarked for each participating student.  When a student wants to make a payment to Travel Selections, they simply inform Mrs. Bell of how much and when and a check will be written and mailed to TS.  If the student is using all of their funds in that account for spending money, they will be cashed out of the account in April of 2001.  Any funds from any student that drops from the program will not be refunded, but will go to the good of the group.

Papa John's Fund-Raiser--Gail came and spoke to us at our last meeting about hanging door advertisements for Papa John's Pizza in Kennewick neighborhoods.  Gail and her husband have moved to different jobs and will not be working with us.  Thanks for the free pizza goes to them anyway!!  We will be contacting Papa John's after the next pop fund-raiser to see if we can still take part in the door-hanging money-maker.  Gail assured me that we can, it's just a matter of contacting new managerial staff. As of May 17, we haven't contacted Papa John's.  We'll get Denise on that one next week.

May 17 Update:  The time has come to turn in your pop orders and money.  So far, Tara High has raised the most money on this drive! Congrats!  The call to Pepsi, placing the final orders, will take place Friday morning.  I will post on the website when the pop is to arrive.  You can pick it up at the Bell's, 3009 Sonoran.

May's Fund-Raiser
We will be selling Pepsi Products again in the month of May.  This fund-raiser is our most lucrative money-making scheme.  This last time, many students made $150.00 or more.  We earned $4.40/case sold.
