managed ZAR 160 million (USD 25 million) revenue 20-month power transmission
infrastructure project business under a difficult corporate change management
environment created by business unit divestiture, and the severe scarcity of
skilled resource arising from political and/or governmental restrictions on
the importation of skills into Botswana, while managing to re-establish and
enhance the clients confidence in our organisational capability to meet
their exacting requirements. §
Successfully
managed a variety of project business in the region (Zimbabwe, Zambia, South
Africa, Botswana) ranging from ZAR 13 million (USD 2 million) to ZAR
160 million (USD 55 million) often involving
multi-function responsibilities including technical design, supply chain,
operational, financial, commercial, and contract management. §
Effected
transition from technical specialist as a Structural Engineer and
Construction Operations Responsible credited with the localisation of a
design capability in the ABB Powerlines business in Zimbabwe, into a proven and respected strategic
business thinker and manager with a strong corporate culture and
demonstrated professional responsibility supported by recognition and referrals from ABB Executive Committee
