God Of Death
By : Yuki Fanel
My blade flashes through his shaking body. He is
fear-stricken. Afraid. He lies there in a pool of his own blood. I can sense
the pain he feels yet he is still alive. Bleeding as he is, he begged for
mercy.
“I don’t give mercy. All I give is happiness…in
death.”
My lips form a mysterious smile. His hands
gripped my blood-stained cloak as if for dear life.
“Don’t leave me here! Don’t let me die! I don’t
want to die!”
Tears struck his face. He looked worse than
pathetic. I took my blade and slashed at his neck, making his head roll on the
ground. Blood splattered all over my face and clothes.
“No mercy…for you…”
I walk away, my cloak billowing behind me. My
pale skin gleams in the moonlight. I stare at the Mystic Moon, searching for
answers.
“…not even for me…”
I am Dilandau Albatou. I am the son and slayer of all these men. I
survive because of them. They nurture my thirst
for blood. I drink their humanity and give unrest to their pitiful souls. I am
the God of Death.
