The Boss

Zephyr, or Doc Z as the younger ones call him, is not a doctor, and his name is not his own. He basically owns almost everyone on his team, after buying their freedom from slavers or pimps. He is well known in the underworld, for reasons none of the team could understand. He assigns them their targets/missions/assignments etc, with an uncanny knack for finding extra work in them. He peppers his conversations with random bits of French but when things are getting a little hairy, his French abruptly disappears. No one really knows his name, his past or even why he's saved them from the slavers. There is another person named Zephyr Trois, a doctor, but he refuses to say whether or not he has a connection to this person. A mystery most of them are itching to solve.
The Bounty Hunter

Kyu is a girl with a gun. She ducked military service at 14 and hitched a ride to Hades Port, searching for signs of her father who was a bounty hunter. All she found was a place already set for her and a ship to take her anywhere she liked, courtesy of her father, Doctor Roi Logan. At 16 she was captured by a vengeful team of someone she had taken down and was sold as a slave. At 18 she was saved from the slavers by Zephyr and she's been working for him ever since.
She's only failed in one mission yet, that is the one assigned to them by an anonymous individual who wanted Duo Maxwell dead. Even though the contractor hadn't followed up on the order, she's intent on finding the teenager and killing him, simply to assuage her pride. Since then, Duo had been more or less familiar with her face, calling her Kyu-baby, just to infuriate her.
The Mechanical Genius
Name : Rois Stein
Nickname : Technobaby
Age : 15
Last Known Location : Hades Port, Charon
The youngest in the team, and the most normal. Rois was put in an orphanage just before she turned 1 and had been there until she was 6. The orphanage was burned down since it was caught in the crossfire of the war. She's been taken care of by scavengers after that. during her time with them, she's found to have an affinity with anything electronic or mechanical. Given just a few minutes, she could jury-rig just about anything to make it do what she wants it to do. When the scavengers' ship was shot down near Charon, she wandered aimlessly amongst the streets of Hades Port until Jan Donovan bumped into her. He was running from the gamblers he owed money to and she got dragged in along with him. They were captured and then made to serve the gamblers, who turned out to be pirates. During that time, Jan and Rois got very close. Zephyr later won them from the pirates in a game and they had been working for him since.
The Business Man

Jan Donovan should have never been taught to talk. But since he was, he's been trying to weasel in and out of trouble there is in the universe, just to make a quick buck. Born into a rich family on L-2, the war had him displaced with no money and family at 10. Ever since, he's been sweet talking himself into the weapons business, the last business that his father was in before he died. He was so good at it, at 17 he had a business all to his own, illegal, but very lucrative. But one of his vices was gambling, and it would've been alright if he had been a good gambler. unfortunately, he wasn't and he soon ended up in trouble with the people he was gambling with. While running away from them on the streets of Hades Port, he unfortunately dragged Rois Stein along with him. Together, they served on board the Pirate's ship, Black Spot, until Zephyr won them.
In one of the missions assigned to him by Zephyr, he was assigned to sweet talk someone out of several ships in trade for a mission for Kyu. When the deal was finished and he was inspecting the ships, he found Black Spot to be one of them. He and Rois hurried staked their claims on it, with Zephyr barely putting up a fight. From then on, Jan rechristened his and Rois' ship, Lady Luck.
The Mutant
Name : Garm The Sixth
Nickname : Gremlin
Age : 18
Ship : Hopper Class Fighter, Shiva
Last Known Location : Charon
Garm is one of the increasing number of Mutants on the Sol's End. While the inner planets could see the space colonies spring up, some of the Sol's End inhabitants had no choice but to live on the planets themselves, with little to no Terraforming capabilities. Many of the first colonist died, while the next generation adapted. Garm is one such mutant. He was raised on Phobos, where his parents were. As it was, he had very little use for oxygen or an atmosphere. When his parents died, he went to Hades Port to look for a job, since it is only in Sol's End do they accept Mutant workers. He was instead kidnapped and sold as a slave. During the 6 years he spent with the slavers, he burned with anger at all who were born normal. When Zephyr bought him from the Slavers, he first tried to run away. But when Zephyr offered him a job, he grudgingly accepted.
Since Garm needs very little air to breathe, he can go where most people can't -- the hull of the ship while in space or in dock. this makes him a very good tracker and saboteur.
The Smuggler

Ship : Comet Class Freighter, Adrianna
Last Known Location : Sanctuary of Pain, Phobos of Mars
Stacho is one of the oldest and newest members of the team. He used to be a pilot for the Alliance but when his wife got sick on L-2, he went AWOL just to be by her side. When he got there, he found that she had died of a plague. He and his wife were quite poor at that time and so, she wasn't given the antidote. (Refer : Solo's Death in Duo's Zero Episode) Her body was taken away long before he arrived so he couldn't even give her a proper burial. What shook him even more was when he talked to his wife's brother who was dying as well, he found out that she was pregnant with his child. Disgusted and stricken, he packed everything he had and left for Phobos, where there was a small monastery of monks dedicated to the study of pain.
There, he met Zephyr, who was rather close to the Head Monk of the Monastery. For the 5 years he spent there, he was itching to go back to the one last thing he loved, flying. He and Zephyr got to talking and in the end he accepted Zephyr's offer of a job as a smuggler of contrabands in Sol's End.
