Ha, ha. This is my first Weiss Kreuz songfiction and is part of a series. This is number one, focusing on Omi Tsukiyono. Why? *thinks* because I want to! *flashes V-sign* ha ha, sorry  too much genkiness ne?

All that  is wonderfully Weiss Kreus is not mine and I have not plan to say that I own  it. So don’t try to sue me for all my money, you’re just wasting your time. All I have is 75.00 pesos and that’s already for payment of my debts…^_^

Sometime

By :  Geri Halliwell

Songfic by Ms. J. Helios

******************

<The song opens with Omi sitting on his bed, embracing his knees tightly>

Treat me kind

Keep me safe

<Omi stands and walks to his window, where a small pot of freesia flowers peek towards the afternoon sunlight. A smile crosses his face as he touches one of the flowers.>

Show me love

I’ll embrace

<That smile disappears as the flower that he just touched suddenly falls off and lands on the soil.>

If you take me home

Where I was born

< He has a flashback: he looks up to the smiling visages of the two men he had learned to call brothers. He looks behind them and runs towards Reiji who smiles tightly. Behind him there was a phantom figure that embraced him when he grew closer.>

I’d find a peace of mind

<Back to present: A single tear runs down his cheek as he mouths the word “Mama”>

Somehow

<The tear drops down to fall on the flowers, like salty rain.>

Look for light for your conception

<The sunlight flashes and the view is obscured by a white light. When it clears up again, we see Omi standing in the middle of a field of tall grass, looking up at the sun.>

Lay me down for your inspection

<He opens up his arms and closes his eyes, falling softly on the grass. After a few seconds, he opens his eyes, the deep blue pools reflecting and quivering in the sunlight. >

Somehow we’ll find a way

Sometime, but not today

<The view focuses on his eyes and images start to play within their depths, tinged in quivering blue shades. In them we see Yohji giving a rather gentle smile that plays with his features. He fades and we see Ken, throwing a soccer ball while smiling back. And afterwards, Aya appears, no smile is visible on his lips but his eyes shimmer in, for once, a friendly glimmer.>

There’s somethin’ I need to say, sometimes

<It pans back to Omi, who smiles wistfully and says “Arigato”>

Somehow we’ll find a way

I wish this was yesterday

<The scene is superimposed with ghostly images, nothing more than memories. Ken playing soccer with Omi. Yohji poking fun at Omi about a nearby group of girls. Aya talking softly with Omi.>

Then maybe tomorrow I’ll remember

Sometime

<Omi suddenly stretches and then the images dissipate into the sunlight. He sits up and brushes his pants off.>

Give me hope

In life I pray

<Leaves float into our view, obscuring it; suddenly, when the leaves disappear, we are left with a shadowy alley somewhere in the city. There are suspicious looking figures speaking in hushed voices in the middle.>

But it’s good when I’m bad

I’m sorry to say

<Suddenly there is a flash. Aya appears with his katana drawn and takes out several of the figures. Before anybody else could react, Ken takes another out with his claw mitts. One suddenly dangles from a shimmering wire and chokes as Yohji stands nearby holding the wire. He smirks. Unfortunately, behind him was a thug who was bringing out a gun. He abruptly drops it as a shining dart hits his hand. Yohji finally notices and gives the thug a roundhouse punch that sends him sprawling. He turns and gives Omi a thumbs-up sign. Omi smiles back with a rather evil grin.>

So when I feel you inside

Deep within me

<The four disappear into the night, casting a veil of darkness that changes our view, bringing us back into Omi’s bedroom. Omi is lying down on his bed, eyes wide open.>

I’d find a peace of mind

Somehow

<His eyes slowly droop shut, and with a soft sigh he falls asleep with a gentle smile.>

Somehow we’ll find a way

Sometime, but not today

<We zoom into his eyes just before they close and there we see a shimmering field similar to the one Omi lay down on. He stands there looking around.>

There’s somethin’ I need to say, sometimes

<He shakes off his hesitation and with a fresh little boy’s laugh he breaks into a run across the field, disturbing some butterflies in his path. They soar up in the sky and he looks up with a wonderful expression of wonder>

Somehow we’ll find a way

I wish this was yesterday

<Suddenly he looks across the plain and he sees a winged figure with long  hair blowing  in the wind looking at him from a distance. He breaks into a run towards the figure, shouting, “Chotto Matte!” (Hey, Wait!)>

Then maybe tomorrow I’ll remember

<He reaches the figure and  he looks up. The figure is faceless, yet with her soft curls blowing  in a non exsistent  wind, she opens her arms to him and Omi embraces  her tightly.>

Sometime

< “Suki da Musuko” she says  in a voice  as  sweet  as honey. Omi embraces her tighter as her wings surround and enfold him.>

I’m a living breathing contradiction

<Suddenly, he is torn from her embrace and he cries out as rough hands pull him away. She disappears with a cry of “Mamoru!” and Omi falls to his knees and sobs.>

Can’t go through this crucifixion

<He looks up and faces appear. The faces of the Schwarz leering over him cause him to turn away in fear. Suddenly, he sees Shuuichi’s face, torn up in pain, Oouka’s face within the pouring rain.   With a cry, he launches himself away from them.>

Sacrifice love for affection

<He breaks into a run. The field is no longer there, only a deep and inky blackness that makes every step he takes seem surreal. He runs with his eyes shut, as if afraid of seeing what else this nightmare holds.>

There’s pain in pleasure’s resurrection

<He suddenly jolts and halts in his running; his eyes open up in pain and shock. He looks behind him and he sees darts, like those that he uses, embedded in his back. He falls forward, crying out mutely.>

Somehow we’ll find a way

Sometime, but not today

<He lies on his chest, sobs erupting into full-fledged tears that stream down his face.>

There’s somethin’ I need to say, sometimes

< “Tasukete, onegai” he whispers>

Somehow we’ll find a way

I wish this was yesterday

<A flash of light catches his attention and he looks up to see the rest of the members of Weiss, looking down at him with beatific expressions of mercy and love. A light shines behind them, making them seem to have halos.>

Then maybe tomorrow I’ll remember

<Yohji nods and holds his arms out, grasping Omi’s. “C’mon kid.” He whispers, carefully making Omi stand up.>

Sometime

<Standing in between his friends, Omi looks at each of them with quivering eyes and then sighs, closing his eyes.>

After the rain, then comes the sun

<Omi wakes up in his bed, the sheets tangled along his legs. A ghostly figure, similar to that winged figure that held him earlier appears by his bedside, cradling his head softly. Outside the night storm that had raged while Omi was dreaming is fading off into a soft mist that fades into a beautiful sunrise.>

We will be one again

< With a final kiss and a caress, the ghostly figure dissipates into the morning light, leaving behind a smiling Omi. “Suki da Kaasan.” He murmurs.>

An aphrodisiac rejection

<Omi suddenly jumps from his bed, quickly changing his clothes. Before we see anything though, he tosses his night shirt  at the view obscuring it.>

Immaculate is our conception

<The view comes back and we see the field again, this time as a reality. Omi is running down it again with a great smile and laughter as the sun explodes into its full radiance.>

Somehow we’ll find a way

Sometime, but not today

<He falls to his knees on the grass, smiling brightly as he turns his face towards the sun. His face is shining in a brilliance that is not only because of the sun’s rays.>

There’s somethin’ I need to say, sometimes

<He laughs out loud as he lets himself fall back unto the ground, whispering “Arigato, Kaasan” and “Arigato, Tomodachi-tachi” alternatively.>

Somehow we’ll find a way

I wish this was yesterday

<The view pans out to see the entire field. To the side, a tall and lanky figure watches Omi’s romp. Yohji shakes his head and smiles wistfully at the younger man.>

Then maybe tomorrow I’ll remember

<He too looks up to the sun and tries to squint at it, trying to find out what is so funny about it.>

Sometime

<He shakes his head in wonder and walks off, leaving Omi giggling happily on the grassy fronds.>

***Owari!***

Okay, before anybody starts to think that Omi went wacko in this Songfic, well you’re wrong. All this songfic is about is about his Memories about his mother and how he misses her. But thanks to his new friends, he carries on and decides “Then maybe tomorrow I’ll remember” about  his family, is he does want to remember his family at all.

*crosses arms* I should have spared myself the effort of writing the fic ne? But still, this is dedicated to my dear Barkada, more especially my ‘Insun, my cousin in YYH and my Niece-in-law in Weiss Kreuz. Confused? Don’t ask, we’re confused ourselves!
