NDF Needs Your Help!!
Northern Division has put together a sponsorship packet for the 2002-2003-ski season.  We are trying to raise funds to help subsidize the cost of freestyle skiing.  We have several areas where these funds could be applied.  Weather you are not charged for your bibs, or funds set aside for national level events.  These so to speak extra Funds are to be used to benefit you the athlete, so it is up to us as a region to generate some funds. If you know someone that is interested in receiving a sponsorship packet please contact myself or contact Donna Elliot

Athlete Representatives
It is very important that if you have questions or concerns on the operating procedures of NDF, to speak to any of the board members or athlete representatives.  Your athlete representatives are Michael Stevenson and Brent Ramharter.  If you have an idea or a suggestion please either talk to one of these members or feel free to attend either our spring or fall meetings.  It is not out of the question to get current rules modified or new ideas introduced into our sport.

USSA Spring Meetings
Several changes will take place this season.  New events have also been added.  New to this seasons tour is half pipe events as well as Big Air.  You should all review the rules in the 6000 section of your comp guides this season.  Also, Helmets will be required to compete or train in Mogul and Dual Mogul events.  Also all of axis tricks will be allowed in moguls.  This means that you can do almost anything in the bumps.  However straight over back or front flips are still not allowed.

U.S. Chevy Truck Jr Nationals
Jr. Nationals this year will be hosted at Steamboat Springs Colorado this season.  A tentative schedule is attached.  There will be some additions to this schedule that will include some terrain park events as well as half pipe.
