A: Help! My car broke down on the highway!

B: Don’t worry; I’ll come pick you up.

 

2. It’s out of the question.

A: I’m tired.  Can we go back down the mountain?

B: Turning back is out of the question. We must reach the top.

If you know you cannot come to work, you must tell the boss in advance.

 

4. We take plastic

A: Do you take plastic?  I don’t have any cash.

B: Yes, we take Visa and MasterCard.

 

5. This is a free country.

A: Don’t wear such sexy clothing!

B: You can’t make me stop.  It’s a free country.
