98 C3 and Bolt-on SE-R vs. 93 Bolt-on SE-R

The dyno comparo below is between a 93 SE-R with all the bolt-ons (header, CAI, Pulleys, Cat-Back Exhaust and JWT ECU) and my full bolt-on SE-R with the C3 cams. I have the same bolt-on mods as the 93 SE-R does in addition to the C3 cams. It gives you some indication of the gains and the losses of the C3 cams vs stock 91-93 SE-R cams.

I lost power from 2500 to 5500 rpm to the stock 91-93 cams. The biggest power loss comes around 4000 rpm, where my car lost 13 hp and 20 lb-ft of torque to the 93 SE-R. I gain power from 5500 all the way to redline. The biggest power gain comes at 7800 rpm. I gained 43 hp and 28 lb-ft of torque over the stock cammed 93 SE-R. Gains are equally impressive at 7500 at 39 hp and 27 lb-ft of torque.

These gains come with only minor tuning to the car. We simply advanced the exhaust cam 2 degrees. With full tuning I hope that the car will start making power above stock 91-93 cams at a lower rpm.
