IC: The WoodCraft is situated in Lemos, near the famous hardwood forests. Turns of careful tending and planning and protection from Thread have resulted in a rather large (for Pern's north continent) forest, consisting mainly of hardwoods. The WoodCraft supplies Pern's wooden needs - though wood is still rare. Large objects made solely of wood usually belong to upper-ranked crafters, Lord and Lady Holders, and Weyrleaders. Commissions that use a lot of wood cost a large amount of marks. Consequently, the rarer the wood (ie. Fruit woods), the higher the price.OOC: On PernMUSH, the WoodCraft can be commissioned to create objects or describe objects that are made of wood or wood by-products (soap, paper...). Players can join the craft as an Apprentice or as a student.
