Chris Chetti d. Mosh   [10:30]
Rating: *1/2

Some nice counter-wrestling was on show from this pairing and for a while it could've gone either way. Chetti's obsession with chairs paid dividends though, and after a Rocker Dropper onto one, he finished off the Headbanger with the Amityville Horror.

Jean-Pierre LaFitte d. Too Cold Scorpio   [6:09]
Rating: *3/4

LaFitte made short work of the agile Scorpio, never giving him a chance to really get going. Successive power moves from the big man soon took there toll with the Cannonball Legdrop following soon after. LaFitte appears to be on a roll at present, could he be in line for a title shot soon?

The Enforcers d. The FBI   [2:29]
Rating: -1/4*

Man, this team looks brutal ! Roadkill and C.W Anderson made light work of Vito and Guido, beating them in under 3 minutes. An awesome spinebuster slam from Anderson polished off Little Guido while Roadkill and Big Vito brawling into the crowd. I don't envy any official who has to referee one the Enforcers matches. -1/4*

Ken Shamrock d. The Barbarian   [15:32]
Rating: 1/2*

This was an intreging battle of two really tough men. The Barbarian constantly took the fight out of the ring to try and take out Shamrock out of the match, but, even with Wippleman's help, Shamrock simply had too many moves. Using an armbar submission hold, he made Barbarian tap out, which is surely a feat in itself.

Shawn Stasiak & Steve Armstrong d. Jerry Lawler & Brian Christopher   [18:45]
Rating: **

The Stasiak/Armstrong combination impress again, although they were made to work for this one! The shrewd Lawler kept his team in this by repeatedly entering the ring to break up pinning situations, and in doing so, got under the crowds skin. The audience were soon rewarded though when Armstrong nailed Lawler with the Flying Dropkick and scored the win.

***** MWA TITLE MATCH *****
Ahmed Johnson d. Wrath   [10:55]
Rating: *1/2

No sooner had this match begun when The Barbarian came to ringside and started causing havoc. He assaulted Johnson on numerous occasions but the ref could do nothing with this being a no-countout, no disqualification match other than plead to his 'good nature' ... fat lot that helped. This interference prevented these 2 MWA fan favourites from settling into any kind of rhythm sadly, but the crowd didn't seem to mind that. The conclusion of the match came when Wrath, frustrated at the Barbarians actions, took a swing at him when he was on the apron. This gave Ahmed a chance to hit a well executed side-suplex, score the pinfall, and in doing so, become the first ever MAW World Champion.
