Credible was brutally attacked in the locker room by The Blue Boy and Jasmine
St. Claire. He subsequently was beaten dwon with a chair inside the ring
as well by the duo resulting in a DQ win.
Dennis
Knight shocked the world my becoming the CWA's first Television Champion.
Test, however, did not take lightly to being eliminated and destroyed both men
afterwards.
Relatively
unknown Cyd Killjoy defeated Dustin Rhodes to continue his Cinderella
tournament. Folks continue to be amazed at the package of agility and
brute power this man possesses.
In the Main Event,
The Rock appeared to have victory in hand when Chyna appeared from the
crowd and delivered her patented nut shot to help HBK advance to the
semi-finals.
Kevin Moss: Ladies and gentlemen, let me welcome you to another edition of Showdown! As you may have saw from the clips earlier...
The drums start as "Sexy Boy" hits the sound system. Out walks Shawn Michaels with Chyna behind him to a very mixed reaction from the crowd.. Before entering the ring Michaels stops and grabs Moss's microphone then poses with Chyna once he enters.
Micheals: Last week, the world saw what Shawn Michaels did to the so-called Great One. (crowd begins to boo Michaels more) People thought that I couldn't come back and to those people I say - "How ya like me now?" Rock, you threw everything you had at me, but in the end it wasn't enough because the better man "Me" beat the weaker man "You". Now once I win this tournament and become the first GCW Heavyweight champion, if I feel that you have established yourself enough to earn a title shot - then maybe I will consider you for a rematch. Until then, you are yesterday's news. Now on to...
Suddenly The Rock appears on the GCW replay big screen dtsplayed on the wall.
The Rock: Michaels, do you really think you have beaten The Rock?
Do you REALLY think that The Rock and HBK are over? No no, when it comes to Shawn Micheals and The Rock - we have only just begun.
The Rock THOUGHT you had guts. The Rock THOUGHT you had pride. The Rock THOUGHT you
had...(pauses, then chuckles)...well it's obvious to the Rock who has the balls between
you and your hermaphrodite friend. Look over you shoulder Michaels. (Michaels spins
behind him, obviously concerned) At any time...The Rock will be there.
At any time...The Rock will be breathing down your neck. (Michaels is frantic now, ordering Chyna to look under the
ring) At any time...The Rock will be kicking your candy ass!
(Suddenly over the sound system)
CAN YOU SMELLLLLLLL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKING?
The crowd erupts as Chyna heads for the entranceway
to cut the Rock off. The Rock appears jumping over the security railing from the crowd and enters the ring.
Michaels sees him and the fight is on! Michaels is getting the brunt of the punishment until Chyna notices and hits the ring for the double team.
A low blow and a superkick later, we have The Rock once again laid out in the
ring.
Michaels: And when you do Rock, (standing over the fallen Rock)
the same damn thing will happen!
To seemingly drive his point home, Michaels has Chyna hold a groggy Rock up, then drills him with yet another superkick! Michaels and Chyna the leave the ringside area to a mad chorus of boos.
