Article I Name: This organization shall be known as the North Carolina/South Carolina Revenue Protection Council.
Article II Purpose: This organization is created to give utilities and vendors in North Carolina and South Carolina an opportunity to meet regularly to exchange ideas and technology with regard to revenue protection devices and procedures. The ultimate purpose is to work together to reduce losses for the utilities.
Article III Membership: Representatives of any interested utility or vendor of revenue protection devices or procedures may join by attending any meeting.
Article IV Meetings: This organization will meet semi-annually. A host utility, designated at each meeting, will coordinate all aspects of the next meeting, including agenda and location.
Article V Officers: This organization will operate with elected officers with terms to equal 2 years and not to exceed 4 years consecutive.
Article VI Voting: A majority vote of those members present at any semi-annual meeting will decide any issue before the council.
Article VII Committees:Committees may be formed by those present at any semi-annual meeting to carry out whatever task the council directs.
Article VIII Amendments: These bylaws may be amended, repealed or altered in whole or in part by a majority vote of those members present at any semi-annual meeting of the council.
