Player Information

Venue Name:
Crimson Dusk (NE-003), Solitary Chapter/Lincoln

Genre:
Cam-Anarch

Contact:
Kit Quick CC [email protected]
Dave Hoelscher CST [email protected]

Place/Time:
Games are on the first and last Friday of every month. Games are held at varied locations, contact ahead of time to find out where. Game starts at 7:30PM and lasts till Midnight or whenever the storyteller says so.

IC Event Locations and Times:
Varies.

OOC Directions:
Varies. Contact CC or CST for directions.

Theme/Mood:
Our games focus more on the interaction between the player characters and the developments that result from them. Most of the games are fairly relaxed, as is the Court setting. It varies from court to court depending on the antics of the current Prince. The mood at the current time is sort of a general chaos. With underlying paranoia, because the Kindred that were here a few months ago have all been destroyed.

Character restrictions:
Combat monsters are discouraged, for we believe intrigue is more entertaining than slapping someone. Characters with rich backgrounds and pre existing possible character strife are encouraged. Bunny Slipper Malkavians are frowned upon...

Proxy rules:
Full character sheets e-mailed to lead venue ST, are required, at least a week in advance. You need a player to agree to play your character, a CST is not guaranteed for you. In character contact before the proxy occurs with members of the city (so someone will vouch for you)is highly encouraged.

It is advisable that the Proxy player talk to Lead Venue ST, and travel arrangements, and influences/backgrounds used to make travel less dangerous.

Travel risks:
Travel to Lincoln is fairly easy to accomplish. There are however some problems that may arise. There are packs of Lupines in most areas, and the Sabbat nomadic packs also make travel difficult.

Challenges:
Challenges are encouraged to be cinematic. No mechancial variation from the current Camarilla game supplement.

Style:
I usually prefer to have the characters mingle and make their own plots. Fairly laid back ST style and I only butt in when absolutly necessary.

Antagonists:
No specific venue antagonists. Other antagonists will be wide and varied. I prefer to keep the players on their toes. State politics are very important, and the local news and real life events are always strewn throughout the plotlines. This may be a world of darkness, but the real world is good at supplying some darkness of it's own. Venue antagonists are typical garou packs and typical sabbat packs.

Venue rules:
We ask that rules arguing be kept to extreme minimum as it slows down game play. Challenges are encouraged to be cinematic.

XP awarding is unaltered from LotNRev p122. (Base 1xp per game, with additional xp for exceptional roleplaying, etc.)

Initial blood pool test is unaltered from LotNRev p106.

No variation from suggested influence setup in Prime.

Visiting character/plot policy:
Always see CST first! Visting characters are not immune to effects of plots, they can be attacked by an antagonist and can be hurt in the same ways any Lincoln Kindred can. If your character is visiting, they must IC contact their primigon in the area first. If a Primogen for that clan is not in power, the Prince or Seneschal must be contacted. For visiting plots: will be assessed on a plot by plot basis by the ST. If there are any questions, e-mail the CST before the game leaving sufficent time for the plot to be considered.
