Theme/Mood:
Theme: Characterization is the goal of this setting and the more interaction with the other players and shadows the more interesting the political machinations that is the other prime focus of this Venue. Merely existing in this realm presents its own challenges, and the day to day survival of the characters is based on deal-making for the betterment of the circle and to strengthen the circles survivability in this hostile environ. In order to continue, they must look out for each other, and for themselves. Establishing a stable haunt is also a concern due to the lack of development here, and the jealous protection of the established Haunts. There is no Citadel nearby, so the wraiths are mostly forced to fend for themselves. Establishing new haunts also presents its own problems.

Mood: The predominate feeling of the game is one of paranoia, fear, horror, and dread. Paranoia of the outer forces around you that are out to get/enslave you. Fear of the unknown here and of your shadows plans for your soul. Abject Horror strikes you as you drift about this wild, untamed place that is now your home, that would rather destroy you than help you. The thought of what the creatures in this place can do to you fills you with Dread. The Shadowlands themselves lends an amount of despair, decay, and isolation to the whole setting. Through this, you must survive, stave off your shadow, and maybe find some friends along the way.

Roleplay: This is a Character driven story, the feeling of Isolation is only off set by the relationships of others in your circle. Combat/challenges are to improve game play, not to hinder the role-playing aspects. Character Backgrounds will be an intregal part of the storyline, from Shadow motivation to Circle goals. The political side will have circle politics to interaction with other forces in the area.

Character restrictions:
As per the current Camarilla supplement for Wraith. A character background required for actual play, for in a character driven plot it is essential for Storyline. Characters and backgrounds may be submitted via email or hard copy.

Proxy rules:
As per current Cam supplement. Character Proxies will be approved on a case by case basis, dependant on storyline and the ability to integrate the character into gameplay.

Travel risks:
Travel is very dangerous without Argos or other typical methods of travel: expresses, ferryman, byways, or a trolley.

Challenges:
As per current Camarilla supplement.
