Diablerie Reporting
(Policy 15-Dec-2000, minor update 27-Jun-2001) With the introduction of Vampire 5.1, there is now a requirement for diablerie reporting (only that which results in a lowering of generation.)
This is a short snip from Vampire 5.1, section 3.4-Diablerie:
- Reporting: All Diablerie that results in a lowering of Generation must be reported to the the High Approval Storyteller within a month. It must also be included in all reports to higher level storytellers until it is acknowledged by the High Approval Storyteller.
- Record Keeping: Each instance of diablerie that increases Generation must be noted in the character's Experience Log (See Prime 1.6). This information must include date of the diablerie, the name and generation of the character diablerized, and the name and membership number of the player of that character.
For this region, making this report via the approvals website will count as a valid report. Such reports will be acknowledged on the website. Such a report must contain:
- the player's name and membership number and character name who did the diablerie
- the player's name and membership number and character name of the diaberlized
- Will the generation be beyond MC for the diablerizing character?
- the date the diaberlie occured IC and OOC (if different, also why)
- the name of the superivsing ST of the diablerie scene
- the Morality Path the diaberlizing character is on
- Morality before and after the diablerie, morality tests ran and morality traits auto-lost. Conscience/Conviction rating.
- Morality tests ran for related scenes - such as injury, betrayal, storing a body to diablerize later, etc.
- Any other info that the ST considers relevant (sometimes additional info will be asked for to assist with diablerie tracking)
A full special application is not required.
Any characters currently in play who had diablerized prior to 5.1 and had a lowering of generation, also need to a notification entered on the website before 1-Jan-2001 to continue to be valid.
