ARST-Solitary Chapters (ARST-SolChap)

Reason for Position
Chapters not in domains (i.e. solitary chapters) look to the RST office in lieu of a DST. This is true for reporting, approvals, prestige requirements, etc. Because of our wide-spread geography, we tend to have large numbers of such chapters. As RST, I want to see that each solitary chapter's questions get answered and that they get the direct personal attention that they deserve - not getting lost in the shuffle of hundreds of emails relating to reporting, approvals, continuity, that arrive each day. The solution is this position: ARST-Solitary Chapters, a "virtual DST" position.

Duties
The ARST-Solitary Chapter office will be charged with the following duties:

• Work with appropriate CSTs to help them weave their game into the regional continuity
• Serve as a mentor to train CSTs and answer questions they might have
• Make DST approval decisions for solitary chapters
• Receive, respond to, and compile chapter reports
• Reccommend prestige for storytelling activity in solitary chapters.
• Collaborate with the coordinator side (ARC-SolChap) in the assistance of solitary chapters in the region.
• The ARST-Solitary Chapters has the same storytelling authority that a DST possesses
• The ARST Solitary Chapters files a report on the 7th of each month (see the DST report format.)

Depending on workload of ARST-Solitary Chapters office, the ARST-Outreach may assist the office by acting as an "virtual DST" for a number of chapters.

Requirements
Requirements of this position include:

• Reliable email access and the ability to maintain an active electronic presence.
• Experience serving as a CST (or higher) officer for at least six months
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to manage a team of storytellers
• Well-organized and able to keep accurate records
• Solid knowledge of WW MET and Camarilla Supplements
• Completion of Tome, Chapters and Thespis Ordeals
• Regular communication with other regional officers, which includes a monthly report (see the DST template).

Reporting and prestige
The prestige award will be similiar to a DST's, with a portion of it regional, depending on the workload and report. Report is due by the 7th each month to [email protected].
