Reason for Position
In the past year, the North Central Region has continued to grow at a solid rate. A new chapter has a lot of questions and needs (and deserves a lot of attention). They want to know: How they can start playing in the sanctioned game? How do they create characters? What is a venue sheet, and how do I write a good one and get it approved? How does the storytelling chain work? What is a storytelling report? How do the rules supplements work? What has happened in the chronicle in our area so far? Etc.

These are all important questions to establishing a new chapter, making them feel welcome in the organization and getting them ready to join our sanctioned play game.

As RST, I want to see that each new chapter's questions get answered and that they get the direct personal attention that they deserve - not getting lost in the shuffle of hundreds of emails relating to reporting, approvals, continuity, that arrive each day.

The solution is this position: ARST-Outreach.

Duties
Duties of this position include:

• Collaorate with the coordinator side (ARC-Outreach or equivalent position) in the recruitment and development of new chapters in the region.
• Train new Outreach CST's how to storytell within the Camarilla, answer questions, provide support and explain policies and procedures.
• Assist in the development of sanctioned venues for new chapters (venue sheet preperation).
• Serve as CST for solitary members in the region

Secondary duties of this position are:

• Assist with the workload of the ARST-Solitary Chapters by acting as a surrogate DST for those established chapters. See the ARST-SolChap job description for details.

Requirements
Requirements of this position include:

• Reliable email access and the ability to maintain an active electronic presence.
• Experience serving as a CST (or higher) officer for at least six months
• Strong customer service skills
• Well-organized and able to keep accurate records
• Ability to work train new storytellers
• Completion of Tome, Chapters and Thespis Ordeals
• Regular communication with other regional officers, which includes a monthly report (see the DST template).

Reporting and prestige
The prestige award will be similiar to a DST's, with a portion of it regional, depending on the workload and report. Report is due by the 7th each month to [email protected].
