Moderators of IC Regional Lists

Reason for Position
We have a number of IC lists in the region, both on tamu.edu and on other services. Both types of lists require moderators.

Duties
Duties of this position include:

• Subbing and unsubbing the appropriate creature type / job description, etc.
• Removing bouncing addresses promptly
• Keeping and maintaining accurate and updated info/intro files
• Verifying membership if needed
• Validating creature types/job descriptions for potential subscribers

Requirements
Requirements of this position include:

• Reliable email access and the ability to maintain an active electronic presence.
• Strong customer service skills
• Well-organized and able to keep accurate records
• Completion of Tome and Chapters Ordeals
• Regular communication with a regional officer (most likely the RA for the venue that the list supports) - monthly report. Tamu.edu lists require a quarterly report to the VPTech office.

Reporting and prestige
Monthly report to the RA for the venue the list supports. Tamu.edu lists require a quarterly report to the VPTech office. Prestige for tamu.edu lists are awarded by the VPTech office. Prestige for other than tamu.edu lists are awarded by the appropriate coordinator.
